Four vacancies have arisen for Customer Service Advisers (Care) in the Care Connect team, based in the Corporate Contact Centre at North Somerset Council. As a member of the Care Connect team, you will act as the first point of contact for residents of North Somerset and other professionals for Adult Social Services and Housing, Health services and the Carelink Community Alarm service .
You will be a key member of the team providing callers with access to information and services relating to Social Care, Health, Benefits and the Carelink service. You will resolve calls at first point of contact where possible and undertake initial needs assessment to refer to other professionals as necessary.
You will have a minimum of 3 GCSE’s at grade C or above or equivalent, including English and Maths, experience of working in a customer facing Health or Social care background, be computer literate with good keyboard skills, a confident telephone manner with good communication skills. An enthusiastic approach is essential, as is the ability to be flexible in a constantly developing environment.
