Stockport Homes is an innovative, modern arms length housing organisation (ALMO), created in October 2005 employing over 370 staff and managing 11,500 properties across the borough of Stockport.
We have a 3 star ‘excellent’ rating following an audit commission inspection, which has given us a multi million pound investment programme to invest in our housing stock.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and conscientious Customer Involvement Assistant to assist the team with developing a range of ways to get customers involved in giving their views on the services they receive. Duties will include providing support to existing customer groups and researching good practice to set up new structures.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with a range of people, whilst remaining sensitive to the needs of customers. With strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied and busy workload, you will be able to work on your own initiative and work flexibly. Occasional evening/weekend work may be required.
