Are you pro-active, confident and organised? Interested in working with students? We are looking for applicants from a variety of employment backgrounds to become valued members of our Cover Supervisor Team. If you are a graduate interested in a teaching career this may be your first step. Previous experience of working with young people would be an advantage as would an interest in a specialist area eg: Numeracy, Literacy, Physical Education or Modern Foreign Languages. Your main duty will be to ensure that pre-prepared activities are undertaken by students across a range of subjects. Although there is no teaching commitment, you will manage classes during the short-term absence of teachers. In this role, you’ll demonstrate a positive but firm approach to students to support their learning. There will also be an opportunity to carry out extra paid lunchtime supervision duties.
