Daventry District Council
Leading the Council’s procurement function, you’ll ensure that maximum efficiency is achieved in the procurement of goods and services for the Council
You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the procurement strategy, project managing major purchasing exercises, recording and reporting efficiencies to Central Government and researching, drafting and presenting reports on procurement issues.
Key requirements
You’ll need:
- An Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification
- A thorough understanding of the procurement process
- The ability to negotiate effectively
- The desire to facilitate the delivery of high quality services
- To be a team player
