The Strategic Intelligence and Performance Team is a relatively new team at the centre of the organisation with a leading role in co-ordinating and supporting our improvement and performance agenda. We currently have several vacancies.

Located in the Performance and Equalities Division, the team supports the Chief Executive and corporate management board on performance, policy and service improvement matters, by providing leadership on performance management, including putting in place robust and efficient mechanisms for monitoring performance facilitate evidence-based policy development, strategic planning, resource allocation and service improvement across the council and partnerships by undertaking quantitative, qualitative and business process analysis on a wide range of demographic and service data.

You will support the Chief Executive and corporate management board to facilitate evidence-based policy development, strategic planning, resource allocation and service improvement across the council and partnerships by undertaking quantitative, qualitative and business process analysis on a wide range of demographic and service data.

This is a high profile role within Islington. You will need experience of using statistical and analytical techniques in relation to large and complex data sets as well as undertaking process redesign, quality or service improvement projects, and achieving successful results.
