The Pennine Centre is a respite and day centre for adults aged18-65 who have a physical disability.
You will order, prepare and cook meals for approximately 40 people, working to service times in a methodical hygienic manner to produce wholesome nutritious food.
You need to hold or be prepared to work towards an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate, City & Guilds 706/1/2/NVQ2 in catering (or equivalent). Appropriate and highly relevant experience will be accepted as an alternative to these qualifications.
You must have practical experience of catering to a high standard. You will also need to have experience of menu planning, costing and special dietary requirements, together with a basic understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
