Location Based in Weston Court, Weston-super-Mare

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join North Somerset Council’s Brokerage Team. The Team is responsible for purchasing Home Care and Residential Care for North Somerset Council Social Services and works closely with the Providers to ensure quality of service.

The position is mainly office based but offers the opportunity to visit the users of the service, make office visits to Providers and attend forums and meetings. The ideal candidate would be organised, enthusiastic with the ability to problem solve, prioritise and manage workload using their own initiative.

This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.

Anticipated interview date: Thursday 1 April 2010
