This role’s all about keeping East Sussex beautiful and managing our waste in the most sustainable way possible. You’ll provide financial advice on the management of our 30 year £1 billion Waste Management contract – helping to achieve value for money and, ultimately, minimise the impact of waste disposal on the environment. You’ll be a focal point for financial advice, provide support that keeps the focus on what we’re trying to achieve and give us sound financial information for decision-making. An in-depth understanding of complex financial models will be essential as will the ability to explain the impact of financial data in plain English. Ideally you’ll also have knowledge of the PFI Framework. It’s an ideal role for someone who wants to join a large and varied finance community working across the entire organisation, delivering efficiency and better services for our community.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post, however, this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Border Agency’s Points-based Immigration System.
