Do you have a real desire to make positive change and improvements to sport and provision in the community? If so then read on as you may be the person we need.
A new an exciting opportunity has developed to join Chorley Council and its pro active Sport and Play Development Team, who are currently working on many initiatives within the area.
Your role will be to support the existing staff and help develop key grassroots initiatives in sport and play. These will include working with volunteers and community groups, supporting partners to deliver sport and physical activity. Part of your role will be to deliver coaching sessions and supporting other casual coaches in their delivery. We are looking for you to have a minimum Level two qualification in coaching sport, in at least one discipline and it would be advantageous if you have experience in a further range of sports.
Training and support from an equally dedicated team of staff will be on hand to help you develop your ideas and help improve and increase opportunity for the community.
