OPEN TO GLOUCESTERHSIRE COUNTY COUNCIL EMPLOYEES ONLY

A secondment opportunity exists for up to 12 months as Community Safety Manager at Stroud District Council.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to develop their career and to be able to influence work in partnership with the Safer Stronger Communities Partnership and also to learn more about crime and disorder, the neighbourhood warden service, abandoned vehicles, car park enforcement and young and older people’s services.

Ideally you will be in the Community Safety or related area, however more important is that you have experience of managing front-line services, managing staff and working with partner organisations.

You will have excellent oral and written communication skills and have the organisation and drive needed to be a success in the role.
