Sure Start Children’s Centres Medway are now in their final wave and are ready to recruit enthusiastic and committed people, who want to ensure the active involvement of parents, carers and the wider community in the development of family support and outreach services.
The early years and childcare service are looking for a suitable professional who may come from a variety of backgrounds including; health, social care, local community, or education that has:
· Level 3 qualification in childcare/education or comparable relevant qualification
· The ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with families, children, health professionals and other agencies
· The ability to encourage and empower parents and carers to recognise, value and develop their own skills
· The ability to organise and take part in group activities within the children’s centre and the wider community, ensuring a safe, secure and stimulating environment
· The ambition to be at the cutting edge of best practice
