The council is committed to developing its youth, children, sports and arts services to enhance the cultural and community development offer, contributing to the wider agendas of improving community safety and community cohesion by developing partnership working to provide positive activities for the community.
You will manage and deliver the Borough’s Playschemes, Annual Festival of Fireworks and other special events within Leisure. In addition you will take over management of a Lottery funded play programme of free and inclusive outdoor play sessions across the Borough as part of Let’s GO play.
The successful candidate should have experience of managing projects/major events (particularly with children and young people). Flexibility is vital as you’ll be required to work regularly evenings and weekends and a suitable sports or recreation qualification is essential as is a full driving licence.
This post will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check.
