Salary: £17,891-£19,939 PG4
Plus local Government Pension Scheme
Hours: 37hrs per week
The successful candidate will support the Communications Officers in developing the reputation of the partnership. They will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be creative and innovative in their approach to work, have experience in editing content for the web and providing administrative support, pay attention to detail and be committed to producing products of a high standard.
The post requires someone who can effectively multi task and work to deadlines and be competent in the use of a wide range of ICT based systems because a typical day will include:
Creating and inputting content on to a variety of systems for a variety of audiences
Coordinating information and activities to develop and deliver communications through social media, intranet and internet and media
Assist in preparation of communication products
Answering media calls and taking messages
Although the post holder will be based at Christchurch Borough Council offices travel to other council offices is also required. Occasional evening and weekend working is expected.
