As Commissioning Officer for Supporting People you will be responsible for managing the supporting people programmes mental health, learning disability and physical disability contracts.
You will work with service providers and internal partners in developing services whilst ensuring the existing framework for supporting people commissioning is maintained. You will manage a monitoring officer; lead on developing relationships with both third sector and internal providers and develop and implement inter-agency commissioning strategies for a number of vulnerable groups.

We are seeking a skilled manager with a broad knowledge and understanding of commissioning supporting people services including the current approaches to quality assurance and value for money. Ideally you will have experience in managing or supervising staff.
The post is offered for 12 months maternity cover.
