An exciting opportunity exists within The Children, Schools and Families Directorate, for an enthusiastic Commissioning and Contracting Team Manager to help us lead the way in our drive to commission excellent services.

You will manage a team of four Commissioning and Contracting Officers who work with service managers to support, advise and lead on all aspects of the commissioning process across a range of services.

You will work closely with our partners in NHS Tower Hamlets with whom we have a number of jointly commissioned services and develop our partnerships with Adult Health and Well Being Services and third sector providers.

You will have a strong understanding and experience of commissioning services and of how the voluntary sector and our partner statutory agencies operate. You will thrive in a varied and challenging environment and be committed to improving outcomes for our most vulnerable children and families.

Ideally you will be forward-thinking; demonstrate the ability to respond to and lead change and be a successful team manager with a track record of success.
