Erewash Museum Service is looking to appoint an experienced museum professional who is enthusiastic about enabling wider access to the museum and its collections of local and social artefacts.
You will have practical experience of:
• Collection management and preventative conservation
• in using a relational database preferably MODES for windows.
• Developing and delivering educational and outreach programmes.
• Developing and promoting exhibition and events programmes.
• Communicating with all audiences.
The position offers an opportunity for contributing to and supporting the Museum Service Manager in developing an inspiring and quality service. You should have a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and you need to be organised, enthusiastic, self motivated and have good team and communication skills, a MA in Museum Studies or AMA would be an advantage.
