One year Fixed Term Contract
Energy efficiency is a challenging issue, which makes an important contribution to the climate change agenda. Raising awareness and promoting sustainable sources of energy will require you, not only, to be inspiring but credible and you must therefore have sound knowledge of energy and sustainability issues.
You will be working jointly with South Norfolk and Broadland councils to help identify effective ways of achieving carbon reduction. One of the measures of success will be the take up of grant schemes, and you will need to collate data to evaluate projects and initiatives. Experience of statistical analysis and the use of IT to produce and present information will be important.
In addition you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills that achieve positive working relationships with other organisations and deliver our energy messages to a variety of audiences. The Council has a Mobile Energy Advice Centre, which you must be able to make effective use of.
