Working as part of a multi-disciplinary locality team, you will track and contact young people in Huntingdonshire to offer support with their plans to move into Employment, Education or Training. The role requires the candidate to follow up young people to identify their situation and support needs by letter, telephone or other identified communication methods. The role will involve lots of telephone work and data inputting, which will get repetitive at times but this is a vital part of the tracking process.  You will provide feedback to advisers to identify situations when intervention from Connexions may be necessary and assist in the input and collation of data for Management Information and production of reports.  You will also provide admin and reception support to the area when necessary. A clear and confident telephone manner is absolutely essential. You will need good communication skills, a methodical and organised approach to work deadlines and excellent IT skills. Experience of using the Aspire database would be desirable. A flexible approach to working hours is necessary, as some evening work will be required. This is a fixed term role expected to last until 31st March 2011.  For informal enquiries please contact Clare Middlehurst on 01480 375107. Interviews are scheduled to be held on Tuesday 30th March 2010.
