Duties of the post will include:
providing general cleaning duties in line with customer care principles and promoting a professional image of the organisation
undertaking general cleaning duties in accordance with the establishments cleaning schedule
ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are achieved and maintained
ensuring compliance with the Quality Assurance standard of the sector
ensuring work is completed in specified timescales
understanding and implementing the standards laid out in the council’s Customer Care policy
ensuring that timesheets relating to the employees are made available at the designated collection point
informing the administration of requests for leave
working at all times in a manner that will ensure your own personal safety and that of others, including reporting of identified hazards
carrying out the duties in the most effective, efficient and economic manner available
co-operating with other team members and colleagues in order to develop and maintain effective working relationships
providing at all times a welcoming environment to visitors.
