We currently have an opportunity to work in the Council’s Risk and Insurance team, reporting to the Insurance Manger. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of liability claims and excellent negotiation skills. You will be responsible for handling RTA, PI and property claims through to settlement.
The post would suit an excellent communicator with at least substantial experience of working in a claims handling environment. You should have an excellent understanding of personal injury and property damage claims and a professional approach to providing the councils Risk and insurance service. You will hold a professional insurance qualification. You will also assist with the risk management property initiatives.
