‘ I was only gone two minutes ’ ‘ I was visiting my sick Granny ’ ‘Oh come on, my car’s not that big’

As a Civil Enforcement Officer, you’ll get used to the excuses, and just when you think you’ve heard them all, you’ll come across a new one.

Still, you won’t let that part of the job stop you from providing an essential service. You don’t need training to see it’s important to keep motorist out of areas where they’re likely to cause an obstruction. Join us and you’ll do just that – you’ll be helping road users as well as ticketing them.

If you’re the right person for the job, you will have a good sense of humour, excellent communication skills and enough personality to help people see beyond the uniform. You will need a firm but friendly disposition, together with tact and diplomacy to deal with challenging situations. Full training will be provided.

It’s a 37 hour week and operational hours are 07.30 – 19.00 Monday to Saturday on a rota basis. Out of Hours enforcement is covered on overtime.

A full driving licence is essential.

This post requires a standard CRB check.
