Based in White City the Children’s Rights Service is a successful partnership between London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham and Westminster City Council. It provides a highly regarded service that produces good results for children receiving services from the respective local authorities.
We need someone with excellent communication skills with the confidence to be proactive. You will have proven experience of working with children and young people with some understanding of social care as it applies to looked after children and care leavers.
As well as providing advocacy support on request, the postholder will have a role that ensures children and young people that have been in care have a platform so that they can influence the planning and development of services in the Borough. The role will include some undertaking in raising the level of participation opportunities available in order to reach children and young people.
