Full Time 36 hours per week
In Havering, we are passionate about ensuring we commission excellent services for local children. We are looking for an exceptional individual to take our transformation and commissioning to the next level.
The Havering Children’s Trust has set ambitious targets for children and young people in the borough. The successful applicant will apply their knowledge and skills in innovative ways, working in partnership with managers across children’s services to deliver improved outcomes and drive transformation.
This is a pivotal role within the Social Care and Learning Commissioning team. The role-holder will support the Children’s Trust and will work in partnership across local organisations to help turn aspirations into reality.
Among other key characteristics, the successful applicant will have:
•A sound understanding of commissioning policy and operational knowledge of children’s services
•In-depth knowledge of the range of services that may be involved in supporting children, young people and their families
•Ability to challenge best practice and engage people in designing services to focus on outcomes
•Ability to make efficiencies through excellent commissioning
