CHILDREN’S CENTRES SUPPORT WORKER

£19,621 – £21,519 per annum, pro rata
18 hours per week
Subject to Job Evaluation

The successful applicant will be required to give practical help and early intervention support to families with pre-school children in their homes, community and at Children’s Centres. The role also includes the planning and provision of high quality Children’s Centre groups and activities.

You will need to have excellent communication skills to work in partnership with families and partner agencies and to share the Children’s Centre vision. For this post, you will need a relevant NVQ Level 3.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 12 noon, Tuesday 6th April 2010. Interviews will be held on Wednesday 21st April 2010.

This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Criminal Records Bureau, before the appointment is confirmed.
