We are seeking to recruit a Community Involvement Worker to work in Tunbridge Wells. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-agency team, raising awareness in the community about the range of services on offer in the centre. For those families who do not use the Children’s Centre, you will provide important information and access to services.
You will ensure that the views of children and their families and those of the wider community are sought and included in the development of services in the Children’s Centre. You will have strong interpersonal skills with a motivated, tactful and flexible approach. You will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to support the most vulnerable families to access services to improve the outcomes for children.
The role will include the co-ordination of the recruitment, training and management of volunteers to support the running of the Children’s Centre.
