Trafford Sure Start is looking to recruit an Information Officer to work within the Children and Young People’s Information Service.
The main role of the post is to manage the Evince information systems (Childcare Directory and Children’s Service Directory) that support the delivery of information to families in Trafford. This work is underpinned by section 12 of the Childcare Act and is part of the government’s national Family Information Direct programme.
You will have a professional or academic qualification in information management, experience in administering databases (including extracting data by writing queries and reports), highly developed communication skills and the ability to problem solve. You should also have a good knowledge of the Childcare Act and information provision to families.
