Easthampstead Park Cemetery & Crematorium provides the needs of approximately 70 burials and 1500 cremations per annum, and extensive memorial provision on its 22-acre site.
We are seeking a Technician to join our caring and active team. This is a varied and interesting role which can include training to achieve a qualification, enabling you to carry out the cremation process. This process includes carrying out interments, maintenance of equipment and some ground maintenance duties, liaising with members of the public, funeral directors and the clergy, duties in the Gardens and Hall of Remembrance, and various office and reception duties.
You will be required to demonstrate excellent customer service skills and be able to assist bereaved families by being understanding, responsive and respectful of their needs. A qualification in cremating or a background in the funeral industry will be an advantage.
