Williamson Park attracts over 120,000 visitors a year and is one of the North West’s premier tourism attractions. The Pavilion Café is very popular and in order to maintain its high standards, Lancaster City Council requires an enthusiastic and committed individual to lead the Catering Team.
You will be responsible for a range of duties, including food preparation and cooking, dealing with customers, cleaning, stock control, preparing and serving drinks. Your will also be responsible for planning and preparing for functions and preparing menus for the Café using local produce and suppliers.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the department is fully staffed at all times through department shift patterns and to ensure high standards are kept throughout the department in line with all environmental health regulations.
A relevant Food Hygiene Certificate and Catering qualification are essential.
