Derby LIVE is an innovative new organisation, created to produce, present and programme the performing arts in Derby. Derby LIVE operates across the three venues of the Assembly Rooms, Derby Theatre (formerly Derby Playhouse), and the Guildhall Theatre as well as outdoor spaces across the City of Derby. It produces, co-produces and presents across all scales and performing art-forms.
Derby LIVE is looking to expand its team of Casual Technicians to help with the backstage responsibilities of running its increasingly busy venues.
We are looking for candidates with some experience in at least one of the following areas: lighting, sound, AV, staging, or costume.
You will work across all of Derby LIVE’s venues on a rota basis, covering shows from ‘Rock and Roll’ to In-House Produced Theatre.
A flexible approach to working times is essential. You will be required to work some evenings, weekends and bank holidays. The number of hours you work each week will vary depending on demand.
Interviews will be held at regular intervals throughout the year.
A CRB disclosure check will be required.
