Two posts now exist at Frederick Gent Community Sports Centre, South Normanton. The successful candidates will assist in ensuring the efficient, effective and economic operation of sports, leisure and recreational establishments throughout the District, including a wide range of duties, in wet, dry and other operational areas. To be short-listed for interview candidates must meet the following criteria:-

A good standard of education in order to produce personal time sheets or other records of activities, accounting and marketing, filing and maintenance of accurate records.
Computer literacy in order to manage electronic bookings.
NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Sports Studies or equivalent OR proven practical experience of working within a leisure environment.
The ability to demonstrate strong customer focus and a commitment to service improvements.
Good verbal and written communication skills (i.e. answering the telephone/dealing with customers on a face to face basis and keeping records/paperwork up to date).
