Scale 2 (£8.32 per hour)
We are currently looking to recruit four Casual Gardeners to work with our Street Scene Maintenance Teams as during the summer our workload increases.
Duties will include all general horticultural maintenance tasks for example mowing, strimming, sweeping, raking, hedge maintenance, flower/shrub bed maintenance, edging, hoeing, mulching, tree/shrub planting, hard landscape works, seasonal bedding maintenance as well as loading and unloading of barrows, trailers, vehicles.
We are especially keen to recruit staff that have experience or are qualified to drive a Tractor or similar plant and those who have the relevant certificates for the treatment of weeds (spraying – Pa1,2,6).
Interviews are scheduled for week commencing 5th April 2010.
