The Centre Manager will be depending on you to keep the site running safely and smoothly for staff and public use.

The caretaking and security service you provide will include moving equipment and furniture to set up classrooms for various courses, the daily cleaning of premises and some basic DIY tasks. Working a shared split shift with the other caretaker you will be responsible for site security, locking and unlocking as the first person on and occasionally the last off the site. The working hours during term time will be a mixture of morning and evening shifts 4 days a week. During the holidays only day time shifts are required.

You’ll need to be able to work as part of a team and have a flexible and co-operative working style. Some DIY skills and an interest in Health & Safety will be essential. Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised and a good communicator who is willing to undertake manual handling and work flexibly to meet room and site needs.

An enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure will be required for this role.
