The Person
Care Funding Calculator Advisor After the successful introduction of the Care Funding Calculator tool we are aiming to embed the approach across adult services.We wish to recruit an experienced negotiator who has the ability to achieve cost reductions and fair prices for residential care and supported living costs for adults with learning disabilities and adults across other service groups such as mental health, physical disabilities and sensory needs. The successful candidate will need to have experience in using the Care Funding Calculator tool and a clear understanding of how the tool works and the basis of the calculations. You will need to be able to use your initiative and develop negotiation strategies in order to achieve better support and outcomes based on care manager reviews and CFC outputs. You will also need to have the ability to work as part of a team to deliver a range of savings across a number of service priorities. In addition you will need experience of project management and the skills to train and mentor staff in the implementation of the tool. Closing Date 17th February 2012
