This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager with a background in Highways to further improve the service through the application of the latest appropriate software.

Managing the day-to-day activities of the Business Systems Team, you’ll oversee all areas of the main business systems. This will include improving Highway Service’s primary business and finance systems through identifying solutions to improve business efficiency and develop key solution strategies.

A degree in computer science or related discipline, as well as an expert understanding of PRINCE2, will be key. Proven experience at middle management level will be essential to effectively leading and delivering ICT development.

You’ll bring substantial experience of delivering and implementing ICT solutions, matched with the ability to analyse and develop effective strategies. With a good knowledge of key business systems used in large and complex asset based operations, you’ll be well prepared to develop consequent business processes in line with organisational and technology changes.
