Business Support and Training Coordinator £24,646 – £28,636
A Vacancy has arisen in the Liverpool JET (Jobs, Education and Training) Service for an Business Training Coordinator. The working hours are 35 hours per week and the conditions of the flexible working hour’s scheme apply to this post.
The JET Service works with local residents to enable them to enter education, training and employment and provides support to businesses, particularly around recruitment and staffing assistance.
This post involves leading and developing the JET Business Support Team in the planning and delivery of customised employment preparation training programmes to fulfil the needs of both unemployed people and employers, undertaking visits to employers and training providers, supporting inward investment activities associated with the JET and deputising for the JET Manager in their absence.
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate experience of working in a service with a strong customer focus maintaining continuously high standards of customer care.
It is essential that candidates have a minimum of twelve months experience of working in a recruitment environment and hold or be working towards a Certificate in Recruitment Practice, have strong leadership and team management skills. The successful applicant will be able to take a strategic approach to the planning of effective recruitment events and programmes and to attract and retain business customers by actively establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
They must also demonstrate excellent communication and negotiating skills, problem-solving ability, have a flexible approach to work and an ability to work under pressure ensuring that performance standards and targets are met.
This is a fixed term post to 31 December 2011
