With a clear understanding of the role in a modern Local Authority, you will provide expertise for the development of software applications to enable officers to achieve efficiency and effectiveness in their provision of services to the public. You will be responsible for the management, administration and maintenance of the council’s websites and Intranet. The ability to train users on our content management system and to identify opportunities for further development of the sites is essential.
Your approach will be flexible with evidence of ability to work in a team and on your own initiative.
Applications are welcomed from candidates who can hit the ground running with the development of software using technologies such as ASP.net, C# and SQL. You will need to be educated to degree level or have the equivalent experience.
