Do you want to join us in delivering Newham’s Building Schools for the Future programme?
This is our biggest ever school investment programme and part of transforming education in the borough.
Over the next five years we will be investing over £250 million in new and remodelled school buildings and ICT services.
We want to appoint an exceptional individual to oversee the new PFI and ICT contracts, ensuring that our delivery partners provide an excellent level of service and supporting our schools to ensure that they get the best from the new operational regime.
You will understand and be capable of delivering robust contract management, including PFI management, and ideally demonstrate recent experience in this area. Equally importantly you will be an excellent communicator with a committment to overcoming problems and challenges, finding solutions and working with others to ensure continuous improvement.
Our first PFI school, Rokeby, is due for completion in July 2010, you will be responsible for ensuring this transition is as smooth as possible.
