Brokerage Officer
Salary: £26,400
The position of Brokerage Officer will provide a responsive and high quality brokerage service that enables individuals’ Support Plans to be implemented in a way that is person centred and achieves best possible value for money.This role will act as the link between care managers and care providers, working alongside Care Management and Commissioning Teams to fulfil the support plans of service users. As part of a Brokerage Team the post holder is responsible for supporting the day to day operations of a Support Brokerage and Placement Service.
The Person
The successful candidate will have knowledge/experience of the social care market. Have the ability to:Establish and maintain relationships with customers, enabling effective advocacy, communication and to assist in decision making on social care requirements.
Develop relationships with potential future providers whose services may be of interest and may be relevant to meeting demand, need and customer choice. The Ability to enthuse provider development matched to the requirements and experiences accrued from customer and community feedback, particularly through the support planning and brokerage process.
Effectively maintain and contribute to the provision of concise and complete financial and activity information in order to assist management decision making.
