This is an opportunity to join Medway Bereavement Services and help provide a first class level of service in all aspects of work relating to burial, cremation and memorialisation. We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible individual to join our friendly and enthusiastic team.

The successful candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and a team member you will be fully conversant in a wide range of duties that support all aspects of the service. Previous experience in a bereavement related occupation is desirable. Experience of dealing with the public, an excellent communicator orally and in written communication, along with a requirement to undertake short services for small groups of people.

Experience of cash handling, PC literate, ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel which will include the ability to create and edit spreadsheets, a good understanding of database work is essential. Detailed knowledge of digital mapping applications would be an advantage. Good education to GCSE level including English and Maths. The position will require the ability to work in a number of environments, including outdoors and in the chapels. Be able to think under pressure and to quickly find solutions to problems. A knowledge of health and safety and experience as fire warden/first aider/risk assessor would be an advantage.
