This role requires a thorough understanding of the Housing and Council Tax benefit systems with experience of assessing benefit claims. The successful candidate will carry out specific quality and accuracy checks in order to maximise income and ensure improvement in the benefits service. Problem solving skills, an understanding of statistics and a high level of computer literacy are essential, as is the ability to use and manipulate report data.
