BENEFIT OFFICER £23,412 – £27,547
You will deal with all aspects of claims for Housing and Council Tax
Benefit, from advising the public on the benefit scheme to the
determination and payment of awards. A sound working knowledge
of Housing and Council Tax Benefit regulations gained by recent
experience of assessing claims for benefit is essential.
This role is 36 hours, but part time hours may be considered for the right candidate. Please note your preference on the application form.
You will need to be a good communicator,possess excellent organisational skills, be able to cope well when working under pressure and be committed to providing a high level of customer care.
