Do you have previous experience working in the Housing and Council Tax benefits field?

Are you able to deal with the public in a sympathetic and tactful manner?

If so you could be the ideal candidate for our Benefit Assessment Advisor role.

You’ll provide a vital front line service to members of the public, responding to and resolving their enquiries about Housing & Council Tax benefits either by telephone or email. Your role will enable Borough residents to make eligible claims and help our Assessment Officers to complete assessments in a timely and accurate manner.

With a good knowledge of the Housing & Council Tax benefit regulations and excellent customer service skills, you’ll also possess strong numeracy and literacy skills and be able to work flexibly in a busy environment.
