The Hastings Academy opened in September 2011 building on a three year trajectory of improved standards at the predecessor school. The Academy is seeking an outstanding teacher of Maths to join our dynamic and innovative workforce.

The English and Maths departments in both The Hastings and St Leonards Academies are joined in a curriculum area called “Essentials”. In addition to working alongside English teachers, the Maths team across The Hastings and St Leonards Academies works collaboratively. We are eager to learn from each other and embrace change.
The AST/ Lead teacher will develop teaching and learning in Maths, act as a role model of good practice and improve student achievement in Maths. The AST role will include outreach work. This post will be offered at either the AST pay spine or the Main Pay spine plus significant salary enhancement dependant on qualifications and experience.
