Assistant Renewal Manager
Grade 13 – £35,953 – £38,575
Temporary contract for 8 months (maternity cover up to 28/02/2010)
This is an exciting opportunity to bring your skills and expertise to our Housing Renewal Team, which delivers private sector housing services to a diverse community including enforcement, grants, home improvement initiatives, landlord accreditation and licensing and empty homes.
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focussed person, who likes a challenge, has commitment to housing and improving the quality of life for Burnley residents and wants to help us deliver excellent housing services.
You will have relevant experience of working in private sector housing and a proven track record of programme and project planning, management and development.
An ability to motivate, manage and lead others is essential. You will need good communication skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Together with excellent time management skills, you should be confident in devising and implementing policies and procedures and providing solutions to housing problems appropriate to the needs of our customers.
