We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join the Salford Ranger Team to support the delivery and development of the city’s parks and countryside sites during the busy summer.This post will involve regular weekend, bank holiday and evening work on a rota for which appropriate enhancements will be made.Working predominantly in our urban parks you will be involved in providing local people with a safe and enjoyable experience of their green open space. Duties include supporting the organisation and delivery of a varied programme of fun activities for children and their families, developing environmental education activities with schools, as well as helping to provide a uniformed site presence and maintaining our parks and countryside area as safe, tidy places for everyone to enjoy.You will need to be flexible, highly organised and possess good communications skills, with experience of working with people in their local community.The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure form.Interviews Wednesday 21st April
