ASSISTANT PROPERTY ADVISER

1 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT

This is an opportunity to join a small team that provides a strategic property service to the Council.

The management of the Council’s land and property assets is fundamental to the provision of changing service delivery and in meeting the strategic aims of the authority. There is also a need to drive forward activities that have been identified through the Council’s asset management planning process.

This post will involve a wide range of activities including the management of investment properties, valuations for a variety of purposes and the provision of strategic property advice to client departments throughout the Council.

Applicants should hold a professional qualification in a discipline appropriate to the post and be able to show experience in undertaking similar duties. Good IT skills are essential.

This post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; the successful applicant will be expected to undertake a satisfactory disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily debar you from obtaining a position with the Council.
