We are looking to appoint a strategic and innovative Assistant Finance Director for Longfield Academy Trust. This is a key senior appointment and you will have the opportunity of working with dynamic and forward looking Senior Leadership Teams and Governing Bodies across both schools within the Trust.

The successful candidate will be an inspirational leader who will play a major role in ensuring Longfield Academy Trust delivers the highest standards for its pupils and builds long-term success by establishing and developing Longfield Academy Trust’s financial and business functions to support the objectives of the Academy Trust.

This outstanding opportunity requires a forward thinking leader who possesses:-

  • A School Business Manager Qualification/Association of Accounting Technician or equivalent.
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and inspire employees
  • A commitment to excellence and right first time approach
  • Evidence of being able to improve systems to ensure quality outcomes
  • A proven track record of management within a complex organisation

The post will provide a challenging and stimulating environment in which Longfield Academy Trust will transform the educational opportunities and experiences for the young people in the area.
