This is a pivotal leadership role within our Community Services specialising in the areas of sport, recreation and libraries.
We are looking for someone who can inspire, empower and motivate our staff to deliver high quality services that provide good value for money, and are responsive to customer needs.
As part of the leadership team you will work closely with the Executive Director to develop strategic planning and implement existing and new policies within our communities, and deliver the outcomes set out in both our Corporate Performance Plan and the Local Area Agreement.
You will have substantial senior management experience in sport, recreation or libraries and an impressive and successful track record in managing change and exploiting new opportunities.
