Your role will be to lead and manage the Asset Operations Team by directing the Materials Audit and Compliance services, through project teams as necessary, helping to improve the quality, sustainability and cost effectiveness of work carried out by our service providers. Also to provide high quality cost-effective laboratory and coring services to internal and external clients.

You will be responsible for managing a team budget of approximately £750K, a team of 15 staff and you will have an external client base of more than 70 companies.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have an excellent understanding of the principles of Asset Planning and Management, strong project management and leadership skills and extensive recent working experience in project working. You will hold a First degree/HNC or equivalent and/or have substantial relevant experience in a suitable technical subject and recent first hand experience of financial management within an operational environment.

You will have proven interpersonal and problem solving skills enabling you to work with others to find practical and cost-effective solutions to often complex issues.
