Job Description:
Arts, Culture and Creativity lies at the heart of Islington’s identity, economy and sense of place. The Borough is a centre of, and for creative excellence, with key creative hubs in the performing arts music, creative writing and the visual arts.
Working in partnership with the borough’s rich arts infrastructure, the Arts Development Officer will help to maximise potential opportunities that the Olympics and other national, regional and local initiatives present for arts engagement and the development of Arts Services programmes.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and managing high quality arts programmes and the ability to establish new ways of working with the arts sector, new collaborations and outcome driven, effective partnerships.
